Benefit for Doug Stivers iCal

Saturday, March 25 2017 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Doug founded the Country band “Second Wind” that has been playing all over northern Illinois for years. On December 8th Doug was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer). He had surgery to remove the cancer including total removal of the left kidney. Although Doug is expected to live a productive life with one kidney, the costs from not being able to work during the healing process have left him in a financial crisis. There will be a benefit on Saturday, March 25th from 12pm to 10pm at the Mt. Morris Family Moose Center in Mt. Morris. There will be a 50/50 drawing, raffle prizes, a silent auction, food, drinks, and LIVE Country music. Love & Thunder will be on stage from 2 to 4pm, followed by Stroker Red from 5 to 7pm, and Catfish Bernie Meise from 8-10pm. The benefit is open to all ages.
