More than 2,000 people attended last night's concert in Rochelle as the Big R Summer Country Jam was held at the Municipal Airport. The headline performance came from Kellie Pickler. Known for her country music along with her CMT Reality TV Show "I Love Kellie Pickler",and appearances on American Idol and Dancing with the Stars.
Country music newcomer Russell Dickerson along with Tristan Bushman of Ashton also performed last night.
The summer concert was also brought to you by numerous area businesses and organizations that include the Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce, Rochelle Municipal Utilities, and "The Coyote".
Proceeds from the Big R Summer Country Jam will fund programs throughout the year for the Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce.
