Byronfest Kicks Off This Week!

ByronFest, one of the finest family festivals in Northern Illinois will be held this coming weekend July 14, 15 and 16, with a GospelFest kick-off on July 13th  at Neighbors Rehab and Healthcare Center. The festival is located in Byron’s downtown area. Additional events are held in other venues throughout the city, including athletic events at the Byron Park District and Jarrett Prairie Center and quilt show at the Byron Museum of History.

Saturday night 102.3 The Coyote welcomes country newcomer Dylan Scott to the stage at 8pm, Dylan currently has the number 2 song in the country with “My Girl”

The $5 wrist band will get into all the concerts both Friday & Saturday. Sunday is family day, no wrist band is required. Get yours now at Advance wristbands may be purchased at the Byron Chamber office, Byron Bank, Byron Mini Bank, Byron Fire Department , Casey's General Store in Byron, Celestial Sun Tanning Salon, Felker Foods, Lake Louise, Kelly Williamson Mobil, Rockford Health Systems Snyder Pharmacy, Sterling Federal Bank , Stillman Bank , Subway in Byron, Davis Junction at Byron Bank, in Mt. Morris at Kelly Williamson Mobil, in Oregon at Merlin's Greenhouse, Snyder Pharmacy and Stillman Bank, Pecatonica at Kelly Williamson Mobil, Stillman Valley at Stillman Bank in Rochelle at Stillman Bank, Rockford at Kelly Williamson Mobil and Stillman Bank in Rockton/Roscoe at Stillman Bank and in Winnebago at Kelly Williamson Mobil and Snyder Pharmacy.

For festival ride tickets, they are $1 a piece of 22 for $20 and rides vary in the amount of tickets required. In advance you may purchase tickets at the Byron Fire Department Monday July 10th thru Thursday July 13th from 8am until 5pm and on the 14th 8am until noon or until all advanced tickets are sold, whichever comes 1st. Advance are 10 tickets for $20 with each ride only needing 1 or 2 tickets per ride.
